Emerald green mini dress created from mulberry silk
Our little green mini dress is made of pure mulberry silk, machine woven by Samniang Thai Silk cooperative in Pak Thong Chai, Thailand. The production of our green mulberry silk is a combination of traditional and modern techniques to offer high-quality silk while supporting community sericulture projects.
Silk yarn sourced from the most trustworthy silk producer in Thailand, Chul Thai Silk, who supports over 2000 Mulberry silk farmers.
Woven by a local family with a small community mill in their backyard.
Mill personally visited by us to ensure safe working conditions.
Hand-dyed using certified safe, low impact dyes.
The dress is mini-length with a low cut neckline at the front and back and invisible back zip fastening. Front pockets work in perfect symmetry with the dresses design, adding style as well as functionality to this head-turning piece. Ethical, handmade clothes by artisans for Rare & Fair.
Please refer to The Cleo Mini in Black to see the dress on our model Raduwah, who is wearing size XS or UK6. Her measurements are: Height 173 cm, Bust 31", Waist 24", Hips 35" . See 'Size Guide' for further guidance.
To ensure your silk retains its charm and beauty for many years to come, we recommend the following:
Take care to avoid extreme heat and direct sunlight when storing the product as this may cause colour fading and/or shrinkage. We recommend storing the product in a cool, shaded and dry place at all times.
As with all hand-dyed products, some colour variation within and between items is normal. Hand-dyed products may bleed slightly when wet, so please follow cleaning instructions carefully.
