Handmade wrap skirt in undyed, hand-spun cotton
Made of hand-spun, handwoven cotton in its natural, un-dyed colour - The Layla skirt offers an effortless yet captivating look, inspired by the traditional artisans’ skirt of rural Thailand.
The Cotton skirt uses zip fastening at the back and a wrap at the front, double fastening and a self-tie waist band adds shaping at the waist. Two real pockets on each side and fake finishing pockets at the front and back. Pair yours with a silk camisole and finish the look with heels or flats, depending on the occasion.
Our model, Raduwah, is wearing size XS or UK6. Her measurements are: Height 173 cm, Bust 31", Waist 24", Hips 35" . See 'Size Guide' for further guidance.

The Story
The Layla wrap skirt is made from 100% traceable, un-dyed, organic cotton. The cotton is grown naturally by local farmers in rural Thailand, using purely the seasons and the 'lie of the land' to water the crop.
The cotton used in the warp is grown along the banks of the Mekong River. The river acts as its irrigation, watering the crop when it breaks its banks during the monsoon season. The cotton used for the weft is grown by local farmer 'Grandma Jo'. It's purely rain-fed and hand-spun in to yarn by Grandma Jo herself, creating the beautiful texturing in the skirt we just love!
Fabric Care
To ensure your handwoven item retains its charm and beauty for many years to come, we recommend the following:
Care
Take care to avoid extreme heat and direct sunlight when drying or storing the product as this may cause colour fading and/or shrinkage. We recommend storing the product in a cool, shaded and dry place at all times.
Cleaning
Dry-clean or hand-wash only. Hand-wash inside out in cool water. Use gentle/low concentration detergent and avoid bleaches, heavy-duty detergents and stain removers. If using machine hand-wash, use a fine-mesh net for extra protection from snagging. Iron inside out on a medium to high heat.
Handwoven Fabric
All fabrics woven by hand may come with small knots, yarn pulls or short pieces of thread – these irregularities do not affect the quality or future durability of the product. We feel these irregularities only add to the uniqueness and individualism of our products.

Delivery and Returns
Delivery
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout depending on location, with standard or express delivery options available. You will not be charged any hidden delivery fees, customs, or taxes on delivery. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs duty
All customs duty and taxes are included in the sales price on any orders placed from Australia & New Zealand. The checkout price will be the final price you pay. On the rare chance you do receive a delivery note for extra payment for customs duty, please contact us immediately to rectify.
Delivery Time & Methods
We aim to deliver all in-stock items to Australia and New Zealand within 5-7 working days for express delivery and 7-12 working days for standard. All delivery times are estimates. For pre order and made to measure items please also allow for tailoring times quoted in the product description.
Where the item is sent from will depend on stock or whether it is a made to order/measure item, so please do drop us a Whatsapp (widget on website) or email if you would like further information on estimated delivery or if you need something urgent. We are happy to help where we can.
Your item should arrive in immaculate condition, if this is not the case, please contact us immediately.
Returns
All unused goods are available for return and a full refund will be issued (minus any delivery fees) if you inform us of your decision to return an item within 14 days of receiving the item. You do not have to give a reason for your return within this 14-day cooling off period. You then have another 14 days to return the goods once you have informed us of cancellation (28 days in total).
Please note: we unfortunately cannot accept returns on made-to-measure, personal designs, sale items or earrings. Exceptions will be made if any items are incorrectly tailored, faulty or damaged on arrival.

Delivery Problems
If you are not in when we try to deliver and cannot find a safe location to leave the package, a card will be left, where you will be able to rearrange delivery or collect at your local collection point. Please follow the instructions on the card. If the item is not picked up within 21 days it will be returned to us. If you wish to have it redelivered, you will have to pay the delivery costs again, or accept a refund minus the delivery charge.
